Trinity Reformed Church, a member of the Confederation of Reformed Evangelical Churches, is ruled by a session of six elders. We have one ruling elder, three teaching elders, and two ministers. Peter Leithart serves as a minister laboring out of bounds, currently holding his membership and ordination in the Presbyterian Church in America. Toby Sumpter serves as the other minister. Both ministers currently share the duties of pastoring Trinity Reformed Church. The church is also served by three deacons. The session meets weekly
Toby Sumpter (M.A.T.S., Erskine Theological Seminary) was ordained as a minister in 2007. He previously served as minister of Holy Trinity Church (CREC) in Greenville, SC. He completed his undergraduate studies at New St. Andrews College and pursued ministerial studies at Greyfriars Hall. In addition to his pastoral duties, he teaches an online Omnibus course for Veritas Press. Toby and his wife Jenny have three children.

Dr. Peter Leithart (Ph.D., Cambridge, Th.M., Westminster Theological Seminary) is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America and a Senior Fellow at New Saint Andrews College, Moscow, Idaho. Peter and his wife Noel live just outside of Moscow. They have 10 children and four grandchildren.

Joshua Appel (M.A., Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando) is a teaching elder at Trinity Reformed Church and serves as the Assistant to the Pastors. Mr. Appel is also a part-time Fellow at New Saint Andrews College where he teaches theology, gastronomy, and shamelessly promotes the novels of Patrick O'Brian. Joshua and his wife Sara,who is the church's choir director, have three children, Blaise, Ella, and Merry Blythe.
Chris Schlect is a teaching elder at Trinity Reformed Church and a Fellow at New Saint Andrews College. Chris and his wife Brenda live in Moscow and have five children from high school age down.
Patch Blakey is a ruling elder on the session of Trinity Reformed Church. Patch serves as the Executive Director of the Association of Classical and Christian Schools. Patch and his wife Debbie have four children and one granddaughter.
Roy Atwood (Ph.D., Iowa, M.A.R., Westminster Theological Seminary) is a teaching elder at Trinity Reformed Church. Dr. Atwood is the President and a Senior Fellow at New Saint Andrews College. Roy and wife Beverlee have two married children and 10 grandchildren.
Bruce Evans is a deacon at Trinity Reformed Church. Bruce works for a new modular home manufacturing company based outside Sacramento, CA. He and his wife Anita live in Moscow with their four children.
Rick Schumaker is a deacon at Trinity Reformed Church. Rick works at the University of Idaho. He and his wife Signe have lived in Moscow since 1999. They have nine children, including two recently adopted from Ethiopia.
Brendan O'Donnell is a deacon at Trinity Reformed Church. He graduated from New Saint Andrews College in 2005 and now works as a writer, coffee roaster, and dabbler-in-things-agricultural. He and his wife Sharon live in Moscow with their two children.
Sara Appel is the choir director at Trinity Reformed Church. Sara is a graduate of New Saint Andrews College (2004) and has been involved with a children's music camp in Colorado (her home state) for many years. Sara and her husband Joshua, who is the Assistant to the Pastors, live in Moscow with their three children.
